A Shortcut into Scholarship

Many older Christian books are scanned and online, yet practically buried: the passage you need may sit on page 483 of a scan that ordinary search reads poorly. A search engine gives you links to open one by one. LXON gives you a research trail: sources we have processed, passages that bear on your question, related topics, outside research leads, and an honest note where our coverage is still thin. Not a shortcut around scholarship. A shortcut into scholarship. Three levels of research; the first comes free with membership.

LXON Publishing Company

Republishing Public Domain Books

We recover older Christian books, even from difficult scans, and publish them again as clean, readable editions. Scholars cite books by page number, and anyone who has cited other digital books has run into “location 2,417,” which no one else can look up. So we number the paragraphs. Cite a paragraph number, and another reader can open the same book and find the same words.

Become an Editor in Training

University students compete to serve as editors of their school’s journal, because the title carries weight long after graduation. LXON Publishing Company offers a similar path. As an Editor in Training, you prepare a new edition of a noted Christian classic in the public domain, and the edition carries your name as its editor. Our software guides each step, you earn Solis as you work, and you finish with a published book to your credit.
