Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: October 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of godhunting.org and the services offered through it by Godhunting Resources, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 33-3656345). By using the site or registering for an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Who May Use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old to register for an account. If you are under 18, you may register only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By registering you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your Account

You may hold one account. You agree to give accurate information when you register and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done under your login. Tell us at once, through the help menu inside the members’ area, if you believe someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that is used in violation of these terms.

4. Membership and Solis

Membership is offered at several levels, beginning with a free Visitor membership. Members earn and spend credits called Solis. Solis are a feature of the site and part of a game played within a fictitious economy. They have no cash value, cannot be bought or sold for money, cannot be redeemed for anything outside the site, and are not property. We may change how Solis are earned and spent, what they buy, and the membership levels, and we may correct any balance that was credited in error. A member may transfer Solis to another member; a transfer is final. Solis left in an account when it closes are forfeited.

5. Volunteer Service

Members may take part in the work of the organization: for example, preparing books for the library, editing, reviewing, operating a newsletter, or making suggestions. Anyone who does so does it as a volunteer and not as an employee, independent contractor, or agent of Godhunting Resources. No wages, salary, benefits, workers’ compensation, unemployment insurance, or other compensation are owed or paid for volunteer service. Solis credited for volunteer service are not payment for work performed; they are part of the game described in section 4, and you agree to accept them as the full and only recognition of anything you do as a volunteer. To the fullest extent the law allows, you waive any claim that you are an employee of Godhunting Resources or entitled to the rights of one. You may stop volunteering at any time, and we may decline or end anyone’s volunteer service at any time.

6. Courses and Certification

Course materials are provided for the enrolled member’s personal study. Completing the required courses earns the designation Certified Godhunter, which is a recognition given by Godhunting Resources under its own standards. It is not an academic degree, an accredited credential, or a professional license. We may revise, replace, or retire courses and may change the requirements for certification.

7. The Library and Downloadable Material

Books you check out from the library are for your personal reading during the borrowing period. Some documents on the site may be downloaded for your own use and carry no restriction; others carry written restrictions on the document itself or on the page where it is offered. You agree to be bound by every such restriction. Beyond what the law allows and what we have granted you in writing, you may not copy, distribute, or republish material from the library or the site.

8. Donations

Donations to Godhunting Resources are voluntary and, except as the law requires, are not refundable. We issue a receipt for each donation for tax purposes. Donations are processed by Fundraise Up under the terms described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Our Content and Our Marks

The text, pictures, courses, software, and other material on the site belong to Godhunting Resources or are used by permission, except for works in the public domain, which are noted as such. We grant you a limited, revocable license to use the site and its material for your personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or sell material from the site without our written permission. Our names and marks, including Godhunting Resources®, Prof. Dr. Nemo LXON®, Godhunter Academy®, LXON™, and Solephia™, may not be used without permission; our Trademarks and Permissions page explains the marks and how to ask.

Any part you take in producing content for the site, including the preparation, editing, or republication of public-domain works, is done for Godhunting Resources, and the results belong to Godhunting Resources. To the extent any right in that work would otherwise be yours, you assign it to Godhunting Resources and waive any claim to it. You make no claim to anything on the site, including material you helped create.

10. Your Content and Your Conduct

You keep ownership of what you post in Circles and what you send us, such as questions, suggestions, and quotations. By posting or sending it you grant Godhunting Resources a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it to operate the site and, for material sent to our topic mailboxes or quote bank, to publish it with its source cited. You agree not to post or send anything unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or deceptive, and to treat other members with courtesy. We may remove any content at our discretion.

We may cancel any membership at any time, for cause or without cause. We intend to use this power only to improve the quality of our community. The decision is made in our own judgment and is not subject to review.

11. Content Produced by Automated Systems

Answers from Prof. Dr. Nemo LXON® and other responses produced by our automated systems, including artificial intelligence, are generated automatically. They may contain errors, they are offered for study, and they are not legal, medical, financial, pastoral, or other professional advice. Use them with your own judgment.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The site uses services provided by others, including Fundraise Up, Stripe, PayPal, Google, and translation and email services, and it links to booksellers and other websites. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that any content is complete or correct. Our research and courses are offered for study; nothing on the site is professional advice.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Godhunting Resources and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability to you for all claims arising from the site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater.

16. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Godhunting Resources and its directors, officers, volunteers, and agents against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your content, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the site.

18. Governing Law and Exclusive Venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from the site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts sitting in Snohomish County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to that venue.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
