Godhunter Academy
The Music Academy
הריעו ליהוהMake a joyful noise to the LORD. Psalm 100:1
The Music Academy is the music wing of Godhunter Academy. Members compose their own music in the Composer Studio, listen to the Music Catalog, and meet the musicians who share their work with us. God’s people have sung their faith since the Psalms were written, and many Christians first learned their faith through the hymns they sang. The Music Academy carries that on.
The Composer Studio
Describe the piece you hear in your head, a hymn for evening, a quiet setting of a psalm, a string piece for Easter morning, or bring your own lyrics, and the Composer Studio creates it with Google’s Lyria music model. Each piece costs 20 Solis, the currency of Solephia, which members earn by taking part. Your drafts are private. When you are pleased with a piece, submit it; once it passes review, it joins the Music Catalog with your name on it.
The Composer Studio is open to members 18 and older.
The Music Catalog
Listen to sacred and classical music by our featured musicians and our members, played on our own player with no advertising. Search by musician, style, or theme, and read about each musician as you listen.
Our Musicians
Every musician in the Catalog has a page of their own: who they are, how they came to their music, and the works they have given us to share.
Featured Musician
Pr. Laurent Cleenewerck de Kiev
An Orthodox priest and theologian who writes sacred concertos in the manner of Vivaldi. His I Quattro Vangeli sets the four Gospels to the plan of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, and I Dodici Apostoli gives each of the Twelve Apostles a portrait of their own.
How It Works
- Compose in the Composer Studio, or listen in the Music Catalog.
- Submit a piece you are proud of.
- After review, it joins the Catalog with your name as its composer.
- Members hear it across Solephia.
A Word from the Dean
“I’m very good at making a noise. I’m working on the joyful part. They say practice makes perfect. So I guess I haven’t practiced hard enough.”
