Godhunting Headquarters
Godhunting Resources is run by its members. Administration sits at the center, and the work is shared among six divisions: Publication, Education, Outreach, Finance, Technology, and Planning. Our offices are digital, so the people who work in them can live anywhere in the world.
Students can join that work as interns. Most tasks take a few minutes to a few hours a week and are done online, whenever suits you. Every intern is paid in Solis, the currency of Solephia, and every task is kept in a permanent record of service that you can show a school or an employer.
We take each job apart into small pieces and automate as many of them as we can, so you do not need every skill a whole job requires to help with one part of it.
Below is what each division does and the kinds of work an intern might do there. Particular openings are posted as the work grows.
Administration, for every division: telephone , a Washington, D.C., number.
Publication
Telephone , a New York number.
The Publication division brings books into print. Its largest part is LXON Publishing Company, which republishes classic Christian books from the public domain as clean, citable editions and also publishes new work. Its other parts choose and acquire the books to be republished, run the bookstore, and keep the archive of every edition and its sources.
Work an intern might do: check a page, a chapter, or a footnote of a book on its way back into print; help choose which public-domain books come next; prepare a book as an Editor in Training; write a bookstore description.
Education
Telephone , the main Washington, D.C., number.
The Education division teaches. It runs Godhunter Academy and its courses, the LXON research service and its research dossiers, and the Solephia Public Library. It also recreates the great sermons of the past, produces podcasts, runs a music academy, and writes the certification tests members take before they work on certain tasks.
Work an intern might do: help build a course or its quizzes; rewrite the summary of a research dossier; research the setting of an ancient sermon; help catalog the library; review a certification test.
Outreach
Telephone , a Los Angeles number.
The Outreach division builds relationships. It keeps in touch with seminaries, churches, and other ministries, recruits scholars and retired professors, plans gatherings for members and graduates, and looks after how Godhunting presents itself: its names, its look, and its voice.
Work an intern might do: find ministries and schools doing work like ours; help plan a gathering; write to scholars on our behalf; help keep our names and look consistent across the site.
Finance
Telephone , a Portland, Oregon, number.
The Finance division keeps the money honest. It keeps the books, records every gift, prepares reports and tax filings, and manages the Soli, the currency members earn and spend inside Solephia. Its legal work sits here too: copyright, trademarks, corporate records, board minutes, and filings with the state.
Work an intern might do: enter and reconcile transactions; help prepare a report; research a trademark or a copyright question; organize records and minutes. This division suits students of accounting, business, and law.
Technology
Telephone , a San Francisco number.
The Technology division builds and runs the systems: this website, the AI that assists our research and our writing, the systems that connect the library to the site, security, telephones, and the written manuals that explain how everything works.
Work an intern might do: test a new page on a phone and a computer; report and describe a problem; help write or check a manual; review what our AI tools produce.
Planning
Telephone , a Houston number.
The Planning division looks ahead. It keeps the operating plan current, plans what the website and newsletters will publish, designs new projects, records milestones, and watches the changes in the world that may affect our work.
Work an intern might do: research a trend in education or publishing; help plan the calendar for a newsletter; record a milestone; help sketch a new project.
How to Begin
