LXON® Christian Research Portal
LXON is a Christian research portal. Ask a question about God, religion, or the questions people have always asked, and LXON gives you a written answer that names its sources, the other side of the argument where there is one, and the books to read next.
You are welcome here whatever you believe: Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, agnostic, or still deciding. Our library is strongest in Christian writing, and we say so plainly, but LXON weighs the twelve major theories of God, from classical theism to atheism, and lets the sources speak. It is built for the student writing a paper, the pastor preparing a sermon, the skeptic testing an argument, and anyone who wants to know what the sources actually say. Not a shortcut around scholarship. A shortcut into scholarship.

Learn More →Are All Religions the Same?
Many people have heard that every religion climbs the same mountain by a different road. Set their definitions of God side by side, though, and they overlap far less than that picture suggests. Our chart shows how little, and what follows for anyone who wants to know what is true.
A Word from the Dean
“I have been asked to say a few words, and I am a man of few words, so someone please tell me when to stop. Ask me a question about God, and I will find you the answer, name every source, give you the other side of the argument, point you to five books, and show you how to cite paragraph 12 of the third one. Then I will tell you what the scholars are still arguing about, and why they are wrong, and why I might be wrong too, and then there is the matter of the footnotes….”
