Department of Technology

Technology is the of our project. It is very challenging to keep up with the rapid change.

The LXONâ„¢ Technical Foundation: Preserving Truth through Innovation

The Technology Department manages the sophisticated digital architecture required to bring public domain Christian scholarly works into the modern era. We bridge the gap between 19th-century theology and 21st-century discovery.

The Department of Technology is the center of the plan for Godhunting Resources. We are attempting to maximize the leverage available with the latest technology. In every aspect of our Project, we look for technology for efficiency. The Technology department is involved in the planning, installation, monitoring, and the technological platform. We use enterprise-grade AI. We rely on our technology department to automate as much as possible to minimize costs.

We considered using sophisticated database websites for this project, but decided on good old-fashioned WordPress. Since we are relying on volunteers, we know there are many people who are skilled at many aspects of WordPress. So do not be afraid to join us.

Learn about volunteering

 We are in the process of building a world-class Christian Research Portal. We want to provide our services and books at the lowest possible cost. To accomplish this, our plan is to minimize expenses by relying on volunteers. We need volunteers in all seven of our departments. To determine whether there is something that interests you, there are two steps you need to take: 1) review the organization chart and startup plan; and 2) go to the department you are interested in to learn more and volunteer. Remember, on the Internet, you can be located anywhere in the world to be part of our team.

Technology challenges

Some people want to be challenged, others would like to do something they understand well. We can offer both.

Since we only have digital offices, everything must be linked together. Microsoft has given us grants under its nonprofit program. This gives us some opportunities under technologies like SharePoint, Azure, Teams, Skype, etc. Our goal is to maximize the leverage offered by current technology to keep overhead and costs as low as possible. That is why we have digital headquarters and rely on remote volunteer workers. There are many technological challenges that provide exciting opportunities for the right people.

Google’s nonprofit program has brought us Workspace Enterprise, Gemini Ultra, and many other technologies. With all these technologies, there are challenges to make them work together as friends. Our major technological challenge now is building the LXON Christian research portal. Here is our current statement of work for that project:

The LXON Research Portal is a specialized digital repository designed for the study of public domain Christian scholastic works. The goal is to move beyond simple “Title/Author” indexing to a more robust model that enables “Conflict of Laws”- style searches across competing theological traditions (e.g., “Show me every 1850 article that cited this 1845 book from an Anglican perspective.”)

Technical Infrastructure Requirements

The system will be hosted on Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, utilizing nonprofit credits for AI and data processing.

  • PHASE 1: Data Engineering & Extraction (The ETL Pipeline);
  • PHASE 2: Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Verification (The MVP Workflow);
  • PHASE 3: Backend Infrastructure & Relational Data Architecture;
  • PHASE 4: API Telemetry & Royalty Accounting Logic; and
  • PHASE 5: Frontend Presentation & Access Control (Rocket.net WordPress)
