Strategic Donation Framework

Our financial model is built upon the mandate of 2 Corinthians 9:7: “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” We view donors not merely as sources of capital, but as partners in a cycle of blessing that increases the “harvest of righteousness” (2 Corinthians 9:10).

The Planning Department seeks leverage the Internet and technology to make the knowledge available worldwide

Tier 1: Operational Sustainability

Our first financial goal is operational sustainability. We believe we can maintain operational overhead at under $1,000 per month for the 24-month horizon. We are looking for $100-per-month commitments from 12 “Pillar Donors”. These donors will be enrolled in our circle of pillars chat room with access to or management team. We want them to think of themselves as partner-participants. We are hopefulthat if we are faithful in the “small things” (Luke 16:10), we will enjoy a small surplus and provide a stable platform for global impact. In this way we hope to ensure the administrative and digital infrastructure remains robust without depleting project-specific funds.

Tier 2: Future Leaders Program

The Future Leader Program is not a static scholarship fund; it is a Strategic Gap-Closing initiative. We identify high-potential individuals with “superior people skills” and a “roll-up-your-sleeves” work ethic who are hindered by financial barriers. Our goal is to bridge the specific distance between their current resources and their graduation.

Godhunting Resources’ Future Leader program is unlike normal scholarship programs that give a one-time payment to a student. We seek candidates, typically in the second year of a master’s program at a seminary, to assist in completing the next two years of their education and help create future Christian leaders in areas of the world that need them. This will usually involve at least partial tuition payments and will include following their activities closely and helping solve problems, including financial problems that may interfere with their graduation and the start of their ministry. There can be many problems during their education that threaten their progress, from relatively simple issues like a laptop that needs repair to more complex ones like student visa problems. We want to think like partners with them as they go through their Journey toward graduation.

We don’t promise a smooth ride; we promise an honest one. We want donors to also be partners in helping their money achieve the intended goal. We will not limit ourselves to standard academic requirements but will try to identify candidates who already demonstrate the “roll up your sleeves” work ethic required for outreach, along with superior “people skills”. We are looking for candidates with a documented history of local initiatives or sustaining community work alongside their studies.

We prioritize students who are already working part-time or whose families are contributing what they can. Godhunting Resources steps in to cover the remaining “Gap”. Candidates will be required to maintain an active presence in their Future Leader Circle so that donors and other interested people can interact with them during their education and, hopefully, continue to support them in their ministry.  Students must provide at least a monthly update (text, photo, or video).

Our scholarship program is designed to help create future Christian leaders in areas of the world most in need. After graduation, we will attempt to continue to assist them. Ignoring them after graduation is something like pushing a fledgling out of a nest and telling it to fly away and have a good life. We hope graduates will continue to use their MemberPress Circle on godhunting.org to keep in contact with their supporters. If they have projects in their new ministry (many will not be joining established organizations) that need prayer and support, we may feature those projects in our fundraising efforts.

Financial Goal: $30,000 – $50,000 total over a two-year period.

Any donor who commits to at least $25 per month over a two-year period becomes a member of the Future Leader Circle.
